American banks, one year after Lehman.

October 2009, one year after The Lehman Brothers went bankrupt, two important findings are noticeable. There’s been plead to slim the giant banks, so they can’t become ‘too big to fail’ and threaten the system. Second, the banks that had good connections with the Federal Reserve, stayed intact and even became winners in these times of crisis, for example JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs.
In one year time, some banks disappeared, some imploded and few strengthened their position in the debris of the financial sector.

October 2009, one year after The Lehman Brothers went bankrupt, two important findings are noticeable. There’s been plead ? what do you mean? There has been a general demand? to slim the giant banks, so they can’t become ‘too big to fail’ and threaten the system. Second, the banks that had good connections with the Federal Reserve, stayed intact and even became winners in these times of crisis, for example JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs.
