A new world order?

According to Robert Zoellick, head of the World Bank, the economic power of the United States is declining in favour of emerging economies like China and Brazil.
While the US has been in recession for almost two years now, these 'new' large economies on the contrary have been growing steadily.
On long-term , a rebalanced economy will make us less reliant on the US, which might bring about a more stable world economy, Mr. Zoellick said.
As a result, the power of the G7 as well is becoming more and more uncertain, while the G20 - also consisting of China, India, Russia and Brazil - is becoming stronger and seems to have replaced the G7.
