European banks are strong enough according stress tests.

Even if the economic growth falls, the unemployment increases and the property prices decrease, the capital of the 22 most important European banks should be sufficient. This shows the stress test of the European banking sector regulator for the CEBS. The banks will know losses of €400 billion but they will survive, the strong capital basis is due to the positive expectations and especially due to the capital injections by the government. The Finance Ministers argue that the credibility of the banking sector strengthened, actually no doubt about that.
